Companies have the liberty to change directors at any point in their course of operation by submitting a statutory form CR6 to the Registrar of Companies.
Changes might be as a result of new appointment, resignation, removal or change in the directors details. Companies are required to notify any change of a company’s directors or secretaries to the Registrar of Companies within a month after such changes have been effected. Failure to submit these returns on time will result in penalties being levied by the Registrar of Companies.
